Kapeng barako (Spanish: café varraco or café verraco), also known as Barako coffee or Batangas Coffee (because it grows in Batangas province of Philippines) It belongs to the species Coffea liberica. Barako coffee has strong taste and flavor with a distinctively pungent aroma. It can be drunk black or sweetened with sugar or honey. It can be drunk alone or blended with other coffee varieties.
